A-okay, three stars.
After not being able to escape from the Sonic TV commercials featuring the plug for the pickle juice slushee, I finally succumbedd and decided to give one a try.
What do I think? Well the first sip was a bit of a shock, but as I continued to take more sips, it really wasn't all that bad.
Being a hot day in Texas it was rather refreshing. My only real question is, "Is it made with real pickle juice?" I've heard good things about pickle juice and muscle cramps and things like that, which I suspect is due to the sodium in pickles.
There's also some happy hour deals, that if you order with the app, are available all the time. I tried to take advantage of this but I really didn't feel like putting my credit card into the app, and it was too early for regular happy hour, so no deal for me.
I'm not really a fast food eater, so I suspect future Sonic visits will involve only getting something cool to drink, preferably during happy hour.
I rode my bike here, and was pleased to see plenty of tables, and even kiosks to order from in the outdoor seating area.
Bottom line: An A-okay experience, but no food was involved. -

Your employees apparently do not listen they messed up on several orders I told them this time a BBLT and tots for 3.99 She rang up a BLT toaster and no tots the BBLT is bigger and what I wanted it not the toaster please make sure your employees have a fifth grade Reading level or higher if they don't fire them

Food was fresh and we got our order within 5 minutes. We recommend telling them during the order of you want extra sauce and napkins. Seems like most fast food places skip the necessities.

Such a waste of a location. In my travels and tours of Sonic restaurants all over the country, I have never found a more horrible restaurant. The facility and location are great. The staff couldn't find a scalded cat with a flashing beacon on its tail. They never get the order right and when the food arrives, the hot food is cold and the milkshakes have melted. They Sonic should pull the franchise.

I noticed the car hopes don't bring out change. When you hand them a larger bill, they will come back with just the dollar bills and no coin change. Then ask you if you want the coins. This has happened quite a bit. A scheme to get a tip without you offering one. This has happened way too much. No more Sonic.
